Xeomin vs. Botox: the “pure tox” advantage, explained

Short answer: I don't inject Botox. I stock Xeomin and Daxxify instead. The difference is that Botox carries accessory proteins wrapped around its active molecule, while Xeomin is stripped down to the toxin alone. People call it the "naked" tox for that reason. All three relax the same muscles and soften the same lines, and Xeomin lasts about the same three months Botox does.

Same job, different formulation

Xeomin and Botox are both FDA-approved botulinum toxin type A. Injected into the small muscles that crease your skin when you frown or squint, they interrupt the contract-and-crease cycle so skin can rest. I map every face by hand before I draw anything up. Results from either product look natural when the dose fits your anatomy instead of a menu.

What "accessory proteins" means in practice

Botox molecules travel wrapped in complexing proteins. Xeomin's manufacturing strips those away and leaves just the active molecule. Two things follow from that.

Why I stock Xeomin and Daxxify instead

Between Xeomin's purity and Daxxify's longer wear, those two cover every goal that walks through my door. Clients who've had years of Botox somewhere else switch over without noticing much difference in the visit itself. Same lines, same natural result when I'm done.

Choosing in real life

At your consult I ask about your treatment history and how long results have held for you before. We also talk through how you like to schedule maintenance. Then I map your dose unit by unit and show you the exact plan and total before I open anything.
